I have installed a Motorola HF 850 Bluetooth system in my 2001. This system will operate a bluetooth cell phone remotely. It's completely voice activated. I don't have to touch the phone at all. It could be in my pocket, and the system will operate the phone. Parts of the system................................................................ The control panel. The big button in the center is for answering and hanging up. The 2 buttons on the right are for raising and lowering the volume. The buttons on the left are for making a voice activated call & muting. The microphone, mounted on the driver's side. The speaker, on the headliner. The control box for the system, mounted on a bracket that I made & attached to a heater duct.

It's been a while. I admit that I should do that more frequently, but I'm getting lazy.

Dear Mark! I admire your work! But is it possible to connect with car radio speakers (like HF 1000). I use Motorola E1000 and Anycom Bluetooth HCC 110 with some trroubles. I have to swich the items manually. Greetings, Dusan.

Parrko......This system cannot be connected to the car speakers. Motorola doesn't recommend it. There's only one wire for that speaker, and it's a coax that plugs directly into the system computer. One other thing: this is the 4th handsfree system I have tried. It is far and away the best. The HF 850 makes all the rest look like garbage.

Nice system Marc-is that water damage on the wood on your drivers side door? Or maybe it's just the flash..

It's just the flash. There's no damage of any sort.
