Hey everyone! I have been a little slow introducing myself. I live in Springfield Missouri. I grew up with my grandparents in Bartonville Illinois. My grandpa restored classic cars for a hobby so I grew up around cars. I have been Aurora crazy since the first time I drove my car. When I took a test drive in it, I didn't even really know what an Aurora was. I loved the way it looked. And when I stepped on the gas peddle I was blown away. I pulled over and popped the hood open, and there was the 4.0 staring me in the face. I drove it home 30 minutes later.
The date on this picture is wrong.
Since July 2006 I have put over 20,000 miles on it, and it is still running great. I like to keep the pedal to the floor. My car has 185,000 and I drive it with no remorse. I have driven it all over Colorado and all the way down to Key West on vacations.
I have had a few problems, but I love the satisfaction of being able to fix things myself. I am in great debt to the ANCA and all of its like minded members. Thanks to you I feel like I could do almost anything it takes to fix my car.
My car is not perfect body wise, all from the previous owner. It has hail damage, a dent like the passenger mirror was pushed a little bit. And a light gray painted rectangle on the drivers side front fender. And a couple scratches here and there. I touched them up a little but the paint doesn't match very well.
I am currently shopping for another Aurora, also. I am looking for one that has been well taken care of with lower miles. I told the car lot I do business with to try to find me one. I told them I wanted a '98 or '99 dark green or black with 60,000 to 100,000 miles preferably, but not necessarily an autobahn. I am also messing with a '95 I picked up 2weeks ago.

My brother also aquired a '99 last week. It is pretty sharp with 120,00 miles.
