Just completed the spring cleaning of the car. If you read my introduction post last week you will know I am obsessive about this car and my time investment into it's care. My process involves a full clay rub down, swirl/scratch remover step, polish step, wax step, and final finish step. Only thing I didn't do yet is to use Trim Shine on all dark grey plastic parts on exterior. I had already put 6 hours into it last night so I was out of energy to do that step. Will be completed tonight. Anyhow, here is a link to my photobucket of pics. Enjoy. www.photobucket.com/joshholowicki

Thanks for comments on my leather. I have a regiment I do in order to keep/restore leather and condition it to maintain it's supple features. I use this on all seating surfaces, shift knob, and steering wheel. Not sure if this can help you but here are my steps. Required items- 2 Clean buckets Ivory Liquid Dish Soap Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Cleaner/Conditioner www.meguiarsdirect.com/product_detail.asp?T1=MEG+G7214Hot Water 3 12" x 12" Terry Cloth Towels (for cleaning) 2 24" x 24" Terry Cloth Towel (for drying and polishing) 1. Vacuum and clean all seam areas in seat to remove any debris. 2. Put a small amount (2 or 3 tablespoons) of IVORY liquid dish soap into a bucket containing 3 gallons of HOT water (almost too hot to touch). Not boiling or super heated but just out of tap. This should not be hard water from a well. Must be fresh water. Also, it is ok to get bubbles from the soap but you don't want too much on the seat. 3. Have a second bucket of hot water available for rinse cycle. 4. Use two (one for soap water one for rinse water) clean, soft, terry cloth towels that are approximately 12" x 12" in size. You don't want one that is much larger than this because you want to be able to handle the cloth. 5. Working on one seating area at a time take Terry towel and dip into soap water. Ring out excess water. You want the towel to be wet but not dripping. 6. Gently rub seating area to remove oils and dirt. (you will most likely need to re-dip the towel for excessive dirt) 7. Once entire seat area has been wiped with soap water, take your Terry towel from clean bucket and re-wipe entire area. This will remove any soap residue and also additional dirt. 8. Once area as been "rinsed", take 24" x 24" towel and thoroughly dry entire area. 9. When all seating areas have been cleaned and dried use Meguiar's cleaner/conditioner to condition leather and restore natural oils. I do this entire process 2 to 3 times per year for major cleaning. I use the Meguiar's approximately every 6 weeks in between this major cleaning to maintain the natural conditioning in the leather. I have been following this exact process on all my vehicles for the last 13 years and I have had amazing success. I also use the soap/hot water to clean all interior panels and trim pieces. Works great. I have restored some moderately dirty/damaged leather in friends cars with this as well. Try it out and let me know how it works for you. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. As an additional note I don't use leather wipes. I think they are an "easy way out" and don't work nearly as well as the bottle of conditioner. Just an opinion.

Nice Aurora! I dream of having one in that condition someday. I will try your leather cleaning solution. Your results speak for themselves. And your exterior color is amazing, it is not a very common color. Your Navy Blue Metallic would look good with some window tint in my opinion.

Great looking Aurora! Please tell your swirl/scratch remover step, polish step details. Do you use a random orbital polisher? What brand scratch remover and polish?
