Congrats to Sall, our next bi-monthly feature!

My 'relationship' with the Aurora started soon after my freshman year of college when I needed a more reliable, comfortable vehicle to get to and from classes and back forth to home on holidays and special occasions. I test drove a few cars before and after the Aurora but none felt the same. Between the sleek looks, nice little V8 and a cabin that feels like home to the driver, I knew the Aurora was the right fit for me.
I am not really certain exactly when I found ACNA but I as well as others surfed the plethora of information before signing up for an account. I have to say though it has proven to be one of my favorite forums to frequent with all the information and of course the great people. Although, sometimes I may butt heads with others, it is all in good nature. It is a pleasure to give and receive help and advice on all things Aurora, even if we drivel a bunch occasionally. I like to think I know plenty about our beautiful rides in and out but I constantly learn something new on a daily basis.
Anyways, more about the Aurora! Like most I wanted to make this ride even more appealing to myself and others. Due to the very good condition I purchased her in at about 82k, there was not much to do but get rid of that hideous front license plate bracket!
As for mechanical needs I try my best to keep up regular maintenance and replace or repair bad or faulty parts quickly but not hastily as to jump the gun on parts that don't need replaced. I prefer to do all of this myself because I have the tools, it's fun and gives myself more pride in my Aurora. To date this has consisted of:
Waiting on the bench is new Torque-Axis Mount, Idler Pulley, Drive Belt tensioner and valve cover gaskets. Transmission mounts to be replaced as well.
I am certain I have missed a few items!
Now on to modifications. I try to keep the Aurora 'up-to-date' per say with technological advances and overall creature comforts and a few 'performance' related parts. Most of you already know I really like lighting and technology. Any time I can break out the solder station and go to work , I do so haha. Some links provided for further information!
'Performance' Modifications:
Lighting Modifications:
Future Lighting Modifications Planned:
Audio & Entertainment:
Exterior Modifications:
Maybe some new rims/tires soon!
Like I mentioned I am sure I left some stuff out but that is the majority of the Auroras life since in my possession. I plan to keep her indefinitely and possibly buy another if the right opportunity arises. I also have a few unmentioned mods planned, but I'll keep those on the low until completed
So, anyways if you read and looked through all that thanks again for the recognition and let's keep these Auroras on the road and never let anyone forget the Oldsmobile name. Keep on rollin' ladies and gentlemen. Some random photos and build pictures below...

First and foremost thanks to all fellow ACNA members who submitted votes to give the honor of MFA to myself and my Aurora!
