I'm really bummed! Want to get my beautiful '96 painted, but the reveal molding is in terrible shape. I have not been able to find a replacement. Part number is 25634566. The Caddy dealer can't help, gmpartsdirect doesn't have it, VPI doesn't have it -- does anyone have any idea where I might find it? I found it available for Olds Bravada, which looks close, but I don't know if that will do the job. HELP!

It is the trim that runs the length of the Classic from windshield to back back glass. No longer available. Salvage yard is your best bet. I am sure there is one or two NOS sitting somewhere. Good luck!

Its a PITA to change to. I believe you have to use a heat gun when installing. Make sure you pack it with plenty of glue, or window ribbon of some sort to get a good seal.

I call it the 18 foot gasket, actually two 9 footers, lol I agree with the previous comments, the part is not available as far as we know. I have some issues with it too. tipsymcstager did a fix with a sealer and some paint a while back, I'll try to find that thread.

Fingers crossed -- I managed to order from www.newgmparts.com. I will relax after it's actually delivered. Just hoping I don't get an email saying that is isn't available.

If they actually come through and deliver it, and if it's correct, I'll post all the info I have in hopes it helps someone else.

I see a two week wait in your future... just to be told... sorry we don't have it. Best of luck though!

lol I HIGHLY doubt it. I shot them an email and a follow up email and never got a response back. I wanted to buy the reveal moldings to keep it in my parts stash.

I'm curious if this ever came through? Facing the same with my family's 95 now. Has anyone found similar-shaped rubber stripping that can be used?
