Gotta get some more members at this... how about the NJ crowd? Is that a reasonable drive? Sorry I'm ignorant to all things east/northeast U.S. but we could use some ACNA representation out your way.

Rvrrat, Have you reserved a room at the host hotel, yet? Or anybody who is reading this thread for that matter?
I have not (heard that the rooms are booked), but I am looking to share a room with someone(IE to cut cost).
If I can, split a room with one (or more) person(s), this will make all the difference in the world, for me to bring my red 1968 W-34 as well. Trust me if TWO 1968 W-34 Toronados are at this show, it will be a big deal.
The Bay State Oldsmobile shows are have little showing of the Toronados and Auroras (you can count on one hand the number that comes to these shows).

That'd be about a 3.5 - 4 hour drive for me, maybe a little longer if I drive my '67 Cutlass (add a gas stop, drive a little slower). Certainly do-able. Forgive me, been busy with non-car related stuff for a while. What are the dates? Economics are a severely limiting factor in anything I do right now, though it would be fun to meet up with other Aurora fans and see some east coast Oldses.

FYI, you must be a member of OCA to participate in the show.
Sad to say this is probably a year that I will not attend unless my wife's work schedule changes. We usually make a vacation out of it but I do not know if she will be in the country. It is our once a year trip that we always do together.

Wouldn't want to show my car, Oldsnut, but that doesn't mean us non-members couldn't still get in to the event and gawk at the cars, right?

You can gawk all you want, you just can't have your car on the show field.

I just forward this thread to one of my OCA Advisor buddies (1997 Aurora from NJ). He is an advisor for 1995-1999 Auroras, and I, for 1968 W-34 Toronados. I'll find out later if he is coming to the show.

Its got a few bumps and bruises Show if anyway, that way to you can get a second opion (to improve your Olds). OR better yet , offer to be a JUDGE at the show ! The Aurora class is 14d 1995-2003. The OCA folks like love you for that (every Olds National show, more offer than not, judges are in short supply). I judged a red 1968 Delmont 88 (with the Police/W-33/B-07 option. IE it had a 390 hp 455. Same cam that is in my W-34). That was in July of 1995, and ,man , did I make some fast friends!

I was parked by the Hotel Lobby with the rest of the "Preservation Class". You move up to that class once you win Best of Class at an OCA national event.

I'll be there. I live 15 miles from there. Booked my room back in 2008 !!! You son-of-a-gun! Last week, an older, very kind gentleman called me (has a 21,000 mile, 70 Toronado, non Gt, original owner), looking for parts. Well he has a room at the host hotel and I'll be rooming with him! ;D I told Glen, I'll help him out with any set-ups for the show. If my brother can come, he can trailer my red W-34 and haul my Oldsmobile stuff to sell(he got an '02 Chevy Suburban).
