There aren't many 2nd-gens sweeter looking than skiiirt's 2002 4.0L! And it's featured right here for your viewing pleasure...
Thank you very much! It is an honor to have my car featured on this forum!
I joined the forum in September of 2007. I have always been an Olds Enthusiast. Every car I have ever owned has been from Oldsmobile. I have owned nothing else!
I had been looking to replace my 1992 Cutlass Supreme with something much newer. I found her! She was 175 miles to the south of me. It took about 4 days for the whole process to be completed. I drove home in a 2002 White Diamond with 80K miles. Gold Package, Chrome Alum wheels, Sunroof, 12 Disc Changer.
The car has been featured in:
1) The First Aurora Club of North America Calendar of 2009
2) Pictured in a Polish Car Enthusiast online magazine
3) The Aurora Club of North America Calendar 2011
The repairs I have done to keep her on the road are as follows:
* Rebuilt Transmission
* Resealed Oil Pan
* Replaced Front Engine Mount
* Replaced Rear Shocks
* Replaced Front Rotors
* Replaced Front Brake Pads
* Replaced FL Wheel Hub Bearing
* New Water Pump
Upgrades/Addons
* 20% Tint on all windows
* Compustar Pro 9000 2-way Starter and Alarm
* 18" Baccarat Mirage Chromes with Gold Inserts (Summer Tires) on Goodyear Fierce Tires
* 17" Stock Alloys (Coming soon) with Nokian Hakkapeliitta R (Winter Tires)
* Raptor HID Kit 55watt Apexcone 8000K 9006 Conversion (waiting for my package in the mail)
* Silverstar Ultras for Highs and Fogs/Driving lights
My main intention when purchasing this car was to have a reliable, SAFE, and trustworthy vehicle. As some of you know I like to spend my winters driving in the mountains and on sketchy roads! So far she has performed like a champion!
She sits now with roughly 120K miles. Thank you all once again. It has been a pleasure getting to know you all and even more important, it's been a pleasure driving my Aurora!
