www.avital.com/ has remote starts. I know this one because my wife has one in her 2008 Honda Accord 2.4 (dealer installed) & it's been good. If you have a few years of experience in putting in electrical accessories you should be able to DIY.

I was able to get a look at how the remote start was installed in that Honda because there's a lot of space to work in there. Not so in the Aurora.....that's the only real problem with putting a remote start into a 2nd gen.

I have a full remote start and alarm i removed from my 01. It required an extra key be placed in a box and that box communicated the chip signal to the ignition switch.
There were wires running all over the place. Its not difficult to hook up if you know the color of the wires you need to hook up to. Otherwise you will need a test light and lots of patience.
I will sell it cheap to anyone interested. Figure its worth $20 plus shipping. Again ..... i dont know if it works.

I have a 2 way page alert, keyless entry, remote start, remote window control wich added one touch up, made by Clifford. You have to get the GM security bypass module to have the remote start and keyless entry work with the factory security system on the 2nd gen. I recommend Clifford. Install for someone mechanically inclined should take less then a day.

GM has a tech pub warning to never install a remote starter on this car at all. It will interfere too much with the electronics. Ask for the pub at the dealer!

It is no different than any other vehicle. Just have to know what you are doing.
