sometimes, when I am driving my a/c will come on full blast "auto." Could I be hitting a bump? Is it a ghost from oldsmobiles past?
Help me out with this one please.

Mine has done that too. It is not often, but it does happen. Oldsmobile again is clueless why this happens. Since it is not frequent, I don't let it bother me. How often is yours?

ok I had a problem with trying to get the heater to come on...on the way to the garage to "pay on a bill" and recover my engine cover i started to run hot and tryed repeatedly to turn my heater on and I even turned my temp control on the hottest setting was it 90 i think but anyways it kept blowing the air finally i just turned it off and pulled over i was runnign up just between the last line and the orange on the temp gauge and in fear of "frying" the engine i pulled over and turned the car off and had it towed to the garage...yeah strange i didn't have an overheating problem till they changed the plugs and wires and screwed with the engine cover...lol..uh oh hear i go again...lol..this is not my engine!lmao! I was so mad at that temp control panel i was talkingoutloud...goin come on...Theres a poll subject do any of you "talk" to your car? head down slowly raising my hand...lol

However, I do shout at it from time to time - you know, things like "why don't you $#@!&^% work you $#@!&^%" That's for the air conditioning, I paid a fortune for a new compressor and stuff last week, and it only works every now and again - oh well, back to the dealer . . . . . . . .

No kidding! that sucks! sometimes these cars kills me..lol It's killing my bank account, that's for sure. I'm taking it in tomorrow to find out what the problem is (and how much it will cost to fix) Everything they did last week is under a 12 month warranty, parts and labour, but I'm sure they'll find something else that needs replacing

Sounds like my luck and my warranty...very little is included and with these type cars mechanics hate to work on them and I only take it to a dealership garage cause lets face it- anyone who works on the car has to get the parts off a dealship anyways...is it like that everywhere? Or just where I am at?

I find that delerships charge to much.......the only thing I would go bach to the dealer for would be (major) work on the engine or tranny......other then that )brakes/tires/a-c/or prossibly even electrical I would go to a general shop or specialist that worked on those parts exclusively......... does that make sense? oh well............. I left my brain at work!

See I run into just the opposite, cause all the garages around here cringe when they have to work on the car...I am in good with parts they always help me out..their hands were tied until the go ahead with the cover but I do get a better deal then if a mechanic called and ordered my part for me. I thought i had a descent realtionship with the mechanics too but this one that I had to deal with here the last time seemed to like to raise his voice to me to get me to shut up.~ like he knew how to shut me up~ like when he started talking about when he actually had to change the plugs and wires.. I was like I know what they are and I know they don't take long to change..well then he comes back at me with well then you don't knwo about the auroras wires they are longer and it takes more time...I look at it this way if they break anything they buy it so a dealership garage that can easily just write it off will be more likely to do that then say a small garage that will have to buy it out of their own pocket (which all of us know that everything on these cars are freakin expensive) includeing that darn premium we have to pump...
