Pulled the intake "hose" to get to the MAF, sprayed it with MAF sensor cleaner. Pulled the IAC, almost dropped one of the screws in to the abyss, looked at it, non serviceable from what I could see, put it back after a gentle cleaning.
Cleaned the outer area of the throttle body, pretty clean to begin with (really didn't have the time to pull the TB off). Rotated the air filter, because only a 3-4 inch area is being used with airbox setup with insert.
Put it back together and went for a BTC run! (blow the cobwebs)

Fixed the wiring in the center console for the shift light and WoW, it looks awesome! Also fixed the wiring for my Power/Normal Shift pattern button. Still can't really tell the difference but it sure is nice to know its fixed haha. Haha, I couldnt believe the difference when I wired my shift light back up. It's nice to not have to count the clicks to know what gear you're in. When i re-spliced my trans wire i def noticed a difference, I know its a pain to take everything apart but you may want to double check the connection.

Wow that looks really good! is there a thread where you explained the process a little more in depth? I DID have one but it got deleted or something because its gone... Tipsy has one, all you do is get the material you want, pull the panels, pull stapes, pull cloth, spend 2 hours scraping the stickiest glue you will ever deal with in your life, bathe several times with laquer thinner; goof off or equivilant, cut your material to size, spray glue on panel, work the top layer then wrap around, and make sure to use good Glue!! Spray tack from 3M is what tipsy used

Oh ok. Whenever I can't find a thread I google the tittle with Aurora at the end of it and it always brings up that thread.
Umm... So I walked to my car after work and there was a puddle of anitfreeze. Drove about 10 minutes and notices it running hot... Added more antifreeze and half way home it was warning me about a low coolant light again..
I was about ready to pull the radiator out of the car. I had the fans disconnected and everything. I observed that this was a aftermarket radiator and there was a auxiliary stub/nipple that was blocked off with a rubber cap that was leaking. I pressure tested it for fun and it was spraying from there pretty good.
Now I am also noticing wet carpet on the passenger side.

Yeah. Thinking about getting one of those service manuals. I know the job pays like 15 hours. So it may take me 3 days. ha ha.
Is there any threads on here about someone doing it themselves?

I think that I may be alright without the service manual or a write up... But I am sure that I will do a write up for it.

Agreed, the light eminates rather a glow akin to neon I tried my hardest to feel a difference with the Shift programming but felt not a thing...well it seems to hold second gear a bit longer but i think it did that before...maybe the sugar pill effect. I'm gonna tear into it again in the coming weeks when it's a bit warmer to make sure all is wired correctly. What exactly is the difference? I know in the Caddy 4L80e the power/normal shift algorithm is programmed into the on board and switches based upon parameters judged by the computer. Guess they gave us a switch to save money.

its going to be in the 70's and 80's here for the next few days, pulled her in the shop and grabbed the detailer's tire shine and paint brush, gave the tires a good coat and let it sit for about 30 minutes, went out and wiped the excess off and wiped off the chromies......am thinking about clay and wax for the weekend and of course...more pix...lol

Now you should go out and get some Meguiars Trim Detailer and polish up all the wheel well plastic...makes it look that much better.

was gonna do the wheel wells too, it sets the car off i think when thats done......along with those shiny chromies.....lol.....like those do ya? ;D......the detail guy here has some kind of professional tire shine and i tell you it works better than anything i have purchased, he also has some acid type spray that im going to use on the chromies to see if they will look any better, he says they are really in pretty good shape and just might need a good polish, the clay that im going to use is purple and comes from the guy that does our paintless dent repair. Okay....yes, im spoiled, the guys in the service department take really good care of me, not sure if they are sucking up or what since i just was promoted to service manager....lol
