You could but they don't work near as well with lower quality bulbs, even DDM's bulbs aren't as good as the ones you get from The Retrofit Source apparently. (They're not a considerable amount different, but people on the HIDPlanet forum are of that opinion.)
I guess you could chance it but they might not fit properly either... I would just grab a full kit if you were to do that. It's worth it, I promise!

the only thing I would do if I bought a set is keep my ballast I would ask them for the HID bulbs and such but I want to keep my ballast since mine is a 55 watt kit and not a 35 watt.
other then that I would buy the rest from them

The projectors are wired; highs and lows work perfectly. Now I just have to seal them and reinstall! I hope to have it done by Friday night. I'm going to seal one light at a time so that I can use all four of my clamps on one light. If they aren't down tight it will screw up the cutoff.

Haha if you got an extra set of headlights you would be fine, of course. It could be done over a pretty packed long weekend, It's just with class and stuff I can't work on it 24/7. I had a lot of homework to do over the weekend too and stuff. It's worth it!

Junk yard ones would work fine and then get a mothers ball lense kit to clean it.... that kit works wonders!

My old one looked foggy still even tho the surface was totally clean. Like microscopic cracks in the lens..

Driver's light is 100% complete! I just need to install it. The passenger light is drying right now. I'm going to give the sealant the full 24 hours to cure and wrap up tomorrow!

so here's a thought... move the fog lights to the vacant hi-beam spot and replace fog lenses with cold air intake ducts. Can't wait to see pics of the beams.
