So I checked for volts on my fog light plug and I got 0.00.

The fuse wasn't blown, it looked fine

I think there's also a relay for the fog lights, IIRC. Did you check for voltage between the 2 wires for the lights or from the wires to a good ground?

Now this is while the fogs are turn on correct? That means fuse is good. I would go with you need a new pigtail for your fog light

Go buy a pigtail for ur fog light ull be fine. You have the right voltage at the fuse but your fog light does not which means you need a new connector its probably corroded

I took my voltmeter, and held the 2 pieces in the plug while te fogs were supposed to be on and I got 0 volts. You need to check from each wire to a good chassis ground to verify it's actually 0 volts and not a bad ground. If you have a bad ground there's nowhere for the current to flow and checking between the 2 wires at the connector can give you a misleading reading of 0 volts. If you still get 0 volts, checking from each wire to chassis ground, then you need to look at the circuit supplying the voltage. If you read 12vdc on one of the wires to ground, then it's likely the ground for the fog lights is bad.

How do I install a new pigtail? Cut the old one off. Strip wires, solder, heatshrink. Check fuses and relays first as well as insuring the fog button itself is operating properly.

If the other side is working which it is as by what he said then their fine. But yea cut strip solder heatshrink and ur good to go

ohhh i thought it was just one side that didn't work. i must of misread that somewheres then. check your grounds if someone has the schematic for the fogs that be great that way we could see where the actual ground is supose to be on see how rusty it is

The easy way around the OEM ground is to turn the fogs on and ground the test lamp/DMM to chassis. Check the fuse, the relay and the switch.
