this may be possible with the classics. someone would have to make a custom cover which would eliminate the louvers, and it would have to be the same color red. it might be a pita but it would be a nice touch

Anything is possible. I almost went with a similar design in the beginning brainstorming but yeah the louvers ruin it. A custom clear[red] lens would look dumb though with the rear panel still louvered. And a piece of lexan big enough to do the rear panel would cost more than it's worth. If you have ever had the tail lamps separated you would know the lens would not be as easy to make. It isn't cut and dry vacuum forming like most headlamps. It has a huge lip and there are black portions around the perimeter that line up with rear panel. ... but I digress, anything is possible!

Your classic rears look sweet The black lines make the look Could you sand the black lines off or something,...to make it all red.....then put whatever you want in there? Another thing.............I was behind a saturn aura and the tail lights look very similar to the 2 g........I'm not liking the yellow on any light ;)on auroras...

Looks pretty sick Your trunk doesn't have that stupid thing around the license plate it's smooth? Was that a custom job? Looks sweet I believe that all 2nd Gen 4.0's had a one piece trunk lid. All 2nd Gen 3.5's had a two piece. At least that's what I've noticed from JY visits and seeing them on the road. I am not sure if it is a thing GM did in certain years of the 2nd Gen. Sent from my XT901 using proboards

I think some '03s have two piece and some don't. They were getting rid of parts.
