Whenever I went to buy an air filter, it was always in stock. I got it immediately. But this time, no store that I went to had it. I finally ordered it from the 4th place I went to yesterday. They had it this morning. I was not looking for something from the 1940s or 1950s, and I was not looking for a part for a very rare car. I was looking for the air filter for my wife's 2013 Accord 2.4. We all know how many of them are on the streets. I'm just very surprised that considering how prevalent that car is, the filter wasn't at hand. BTW, the Accord also needed a cabin air filter, but I got that with no waiting.

Parts stores are funny like that.. A bit ago I wanted to buy a simple wheel stud for my Alero. I had to go to 4 stores as well!! Once I found a store with some wheel studs in stock I bought 6 of them to be safe. Honestly though out of wheel studs? How many cars share the same wheel studs as the Alero, plenty I'm sure!

The Pontiac Grand Am is identical to the Alero so the studs were the same, and I'm sure a lot of other GM cars used that same part.

And another thing.....after I put the new air filter into the Accord, the gas mileage went from the 29 mpg range to the 31 mpg range.

I love the idea and convenience of Amazon Prime... I'm just not sure I would use it enough to make it worth the $100/year subscription price.

Yeah the cabin filters are very important to change on many Hondas.
I love amazon prime. I ordered an inner tie rod last week from there instead of rock auto. Rock auto charges so dang much for shipping!
