Is there a way I can remove the down function of my passenger mirror when in reverse? Its a pita.

Yes you can. Start the car hold "select down" and "Select right" on a DIC for 3- 5 seconds until u see programing mode than u keep pressing down until u see mirror in reverse and u press right to set to NO.... or its right to select and down to chose options. Once you be in programing mode you just read what it says. I love that option tho:)

Thanks you for the answer. I have never seen that part of the driver info center. Mine just moves way to low for my taste.

I love that feature too, I wish all my cars had it as it makes it really easy to pull up nice and close the curb.

Glad they made that feature defeatable because I don't like it. I use my side mirrors to back up my long sloped driveway and looking at the ground next to the car does me no good.

I love the feature haha, but its because I have to reverse into my spot on the street. Just for reference in the Classic Aurora you can defeat it by putting the mirror switch in the "right" position.
