Hello everyone. I just purchased my first Aurora and it won't start. It turns over but nothing more. I'm not getting any fuel. Fuel pump turns on but I get nothing else. If I put a bit of gas in the intake it fires. I'm pretty sure the ignition cylinder is messed up, but could that be what's causing the issue?

So you have spark but no fuel? You need to check your fuel pressure at the fuel rail, fuel pumps can still work but not have enough pressure to run the vehicle. You can buy fuel pressure gauges at harbor fright or online for around 20-30, or you can rent them at parts stores. Go ahead and install a new fuel filter first, those are cheap and usually easy to change, you may spray it down with wd40 before you do anything else and use line wrenches when changing. '95s are a little different, some parts are different and harder to find as with that probably goes more expensive. The ignition has 2 parts, the ignition lock cylinder, where your key goes in, if your key goes in and turns the cylinder like it should, then that part should be ok. The other part is the ignition switch, it is a big switch that controls power to many things on the car, it turns with the ignition lock cylinder and is on the left side of the steering column. My Aurora broke down for 6 months because of the ignition switch, at the time I did not know ignition switches existed, I thought it was a theft problem. Do you have any lights going on when the car is turned on or off? Is your center information center lighting up and working? Read this thread for more info on ignition switches.
