I was replacing mini light bulbs on switch for seat heating on my new 2G. I found remote starter brain box hidden next to the radio. Unfortunatelly Aurora did not come with any fob for car starter. I disconnected starter box to have a better look. No obvious serial nor any other numbers on the box. After some hours of searching on the web I found very similar looking starter Ultra Start model 1250. Car would not start witout a starter. Well, I connected starter back with my key in on position and now my AC blower does not move. HVAC controls works as nothing happened and I can hear actuators moving inside, but blower wont spin. I checked computer with scan tool and there is no code set. Need help with diagnosis or maybe a link to older post. Thank you.

So I removed blower motor and almost bought a new one. I tested motor with AC 9V adapter and confirmed it is dead. I noticed on my floor black dust falling from motor, opened motor and found inside a lot of carbon deposit dust almost solid pieces. I cleaned motor inside, did not find any visible demage to coil wires. So I closed it and retested with my 9V adapter. To my big surprice it started spinning. Just installed blower and my Aurora is back!

Good deal! Did you pull the carpet and pad back? It makes it a lot easier, especially if you end up having to install a new one, they are a different design and bigger.
