Nice. Oatey test plug FTW. Pull the TB off and clean the backside if you want to clean it more thoroughly. It's pretty easy. I notice your plug wire routing is a little off. You will certainly like straight pipes but may consider an exhaust cutout. There is always something you can find to do

Cool! Good work. In terms of the roaring, I second what Sall suggested. I would go with an electric cutout. I have a thread on here about it. It sounds just like straights but you can close it whenever you want at the touch of a button. Great for extended highway driving or at night through neighborhoods and stuff when you don't want to be loud. Something to look into! It is, by far, one of the favorite mods that I have done to my Aurora.

I just had my mufflers replaced with straight pipes, cost me $50.

Not sure right off hand and I am sure prices have came down since I installed mine. Of course add in the cost of welding if you can't do it yourself. Most of them come with slip fit wye pipe anyhow. I have noticed similar ones on eBay and AliExpress from $99 and up. Who knows how reliable those are.
I could not deal with straights all the time, but that's just me!

I got mine from these guys and just muffler clamped it on: DMH Performance I just got a single cutout, we don't really have room for two anyhow. I wired my power into the door chime circuit I believe; it has been long enough that I'm not really sure. Just need to put it on a circuit that gets constant 12v power. If you have any more questions, just ask! Straights are definitely cool too, all I have to say about it is with four years of straight pipes I was very happy to go to a cutout where I could close it some of the time. I still have it open ~75% of the time, but it is definitely handy! I closed it on the highway on the way to the latest meet in Bolivar, Missouri. Two and a half ours of quiet comfort.

well, some local guy here in town Dardanelle,AR told me it was illegal to do muffler "delete" , tried to sell me some "cherry Bombs" at $100 a piece, if i bought my own mufflers the labor fee would be $100+ in case he had to add more pipe. now what? lol i want a deeper sound
