I have a 02 rora and I can not find the oil pressure/sending unit, I know it is right by the oil filter somewhere, but all I found was the oil level sensor(oh do not unscrew that out without thinking just what in the heck you were doing, mouthful of oil makes you realize you screwed up lol) I bought the AC Delco replacement, but could anyone direct me on where it is or even send me a pic or diagram at least....
now when the car runs it is fine, but when I slow for a red light the car sort of surges and stalls out about once every 20 red lights, and just recently when I drive and park (with it running)the oil light on the dash will flicker on and the bell goes off and it goes right off..I checked the oil level it was full, is this the sensor? and also when I drive normal it is fine, but if I get on the gas, I hear a rattle in the motor, it is not bad but scares me, kind of sounds like plastic(prob not plastic but with my luck it is terminal) or something, somebody said that was the sender unit telling the computer the pressure is fine when in fact it is not reading correctly and needs to be changed.... I love my girl and pray this fixes her I do not want to buy any other car, I just love my Aurora so if anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it
thanks guys
Chris

The oil pressure sensor is in the oil filter adapter. The oil level sensor is on the front side of the oil pan.

jl205 Before you replace the sending unit make sure that your front motor mount is good most common issue for that sensor to fail when the mount goes bad or when they change the mount and they lazy to remove the unit from the car and they brake it. Make sure you get AC delco part as well not some after market since they dont last long.

Be careful when installing it. It is really easy to snap or crack and then you're right back in the same situation.
