I have a 95 classic and love it so when I had the chance to buy a very nice 98 I bought it for my galfriend. On the way home we discovered we had no headlites, taillites or foglites but flash to pass is ok. I've checked all the fuses and all ok. From reading the posts I believe the problem is probably the LCM. None of the local pick-a-parts have any Auroras but there are many Cads and other Olds models. Does anyone know if there are any other GM models that may use the same LCM units? Or where one might be obtained cheaply? Or how to test mine? Or could the problem be the MFS? Any help will be appreciated. THANKS

Not the sort of thing you want to just throw parts at to fix... First thing you need if you're going to be Aurora owners is a good Factory Service Manual which will have schematics and troubleshooting steps. You checked all fuses in all three locations? Under the back seat and hood as well as instrument panel?

I'd guess LCM as well but as Bob said its hard to know for sure. I would venture to guess that the Buick Riviera of the same vintage would have the same LCM but I am not certain of that. I think Randy T. had a bunch of them..but I might be mistaken on that too haha.

Compatibility is for '95-96 Aurora/Rivieras IRRC. '97+ are a different part number.

Yup, I checked ALL the fuses/breakers and all are good. One reason I think it may be LCM and not MFS is the fog lites don't go thru the MFS (I think!) Anyway, does anyone know a good (cheap!) source of one??? THANKS

I'll see if I can find some pinouts for you to test the MFS tomorrow if no one else posts them. Have a DMM?

Yes, I do have a DMM. And I would really appreciate if anyone can tell me how to test the LCM and MFS. Got to make sure I get home before dark, it"s pretty inconvenient!
