my car is a 99- part swap list encourages idea to replace front struts with a 06-07 V8 buick Lucerne... unclear if my coil springs need a switchout...?? can anyone elaborate? did it mean only delco brand struts for that specific car, engine size and year?..my cars mounts, bearing, etc.. replaced with 06-07 Lucerne parts? Says its a straight bolt in affair and that's what I need. Rear shocks and mounts need replacement.. I have option code fe3 "touring suspension system" per GM inquiry system vehicle build.. (lists code #s for "computer selected suspension" 6PD 7PD 8DN 9DN..? anyone?) I need to use the air shocks ? What are the alternatives? I live in ct. anyone want side work wrenching this car...car runs great though at 174,700 miles screams for maintenance. Anyone..? I would drive 200 miles.. or make a reference. Dealers, firestone, etc.. never...

They should be a direct swap physically. However no one ever stated whether or not using the complete assembly would have an affect on ride height. Unfortunately, AuroraBrain doesn't come around here often anymore to answer these questions. There is not many willing or interested in making or participating in helping with upgrades/modifications on this forum.
