Let's see I have a strange safety tip for everyone. I happen to know that Rid a Bug, Bug B Gone, and others are not like this (they evaporate in seconds) but Raid brand wasp and hornet spray is very dangerous to use over stairs or sloped surface especially if you was on a roof because it melts shingles!! I came home to about 20-30 wasps swarming inside a covered entrance into my house. I always keep a can or two of wasp spray there due to this. I sprayed like crazy and killed most of them then went to go back to get my books out of the car. Raid had a chemical reaction and melted the shingles on the ramp leading into the house (house previously owned by a woman in a wheelchair). I took one step and went straight down. my left hand landed on the corner of a 2x4 and snapped off the end/edge of my pinky joint! I had tyo spray the ramp down with a water hose before I could use it again. The shingles of course there to provide traction. The doctor put me on narcotics and I've been wearing a sling. Not sure if they will cast my hand or what yet. See the white sliver on left where the knuckle would be that's the broke off joint/ tip of my pinky.

Ouch. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Doesn't this belong in the wrecks and body repairs subforum though
