Ok here goes nothing. I recently have encountered a problem with my Aurora. When i take off from a stop the engine sputters and lags out untill i hit about 20-30 mph then it pick back up all power. If i try driving up a hill you better get in line because i hit 10 mph driving on any incline it seems like. I have a CEL on and i had the codes ran. 3 issues popped up. {1} Cylinder 1 Misfire. {2} Random Cylinder Misfire. {3} Knock Sensor. I immediately checked out all the coils to make sure the where throwing sparks and working properly. Changed the spark plug in cylinder 1. I have yet to mess with the knock sensor due to its ugly placement right under the intake. My question is after checking and replacing the coils and spark plug. would the knock sensor really have that bad of an effect on the firing? I assumed it would have been the plugs , wires, and or coils. Any information would be greatly welcome.

I assume you tried cleaning it first? That's a fairly expensive part, isn't it?

I'd start with plugs and wires. These engines also seem to only like AC Delco or NGK plugs

Ive changed plugs wires and got 4 MAF sensors from junk yard. still lose power when hitting an incline or taking off from a stop. I should be able to push the petal to the floor and take off. if i push the petal to the floor i get a slow gradual take off. i am lost.

I would chnage all the plugs and wires first(you mentioned changning one plug then later said plugs, so not sure what you have done). Have you checked fuel pressure at the rail? What is your long term fuel trim?

OK list as follows is everything i have done.
Changed all spark plugs and wires. Changed all coil packs. Changed MAF sensor. Changed Fuel Filter. Unhooked O2 sensor before the cat. drove it still same issue. Unhooked cat from engine. drove still same issue. I am going to orileys now to get a fuel pressure gauge to test the system pressure.

You are looking for 48-55 psi with system primed(key on/engine off). Unless you have a '95 it is different IRRC. You should also check for high LTFT though as well with a scantool.
