Just got the brand new motor in our 2001 and it's running wonderfully! One problem though: the plastic radiator shield/air deflector under the car fell off and was badly mangled. I've been trying to find a replacement for two weeks with no luck: the parts outlets all say it's "discontinued". Anybody know of a source...used or otherwise....wher I might be able to get a replacement? A decent size rock bouncing up off the road could easily damage the expensive radiator!

That's probably it Tigger....just can't open the link as my work blocks E-bay, Facebook, etc. But it's the large plastic piece that covers the bottom of the radiator. Might have a vendor w/ one for just over $110 including shipping.......

Might have a vendor w/ one for just over $110 including shipping....... That's a better deal than the Ebay link I posted, $107 + $15 shipping! Like I said, pricey... When did these get so expensive? When we first got the Aurora, both this shield and the front air deflector were kinda beat up, and IIRC, the dealer wanted ~$100 for both, and I scoffed at that, haha! Got both at the local Pull-A-Part for 15 bucks. I'd offer to go snag one for you but my yard hasn't had a 2G in months...

Thanks Tigger! Wonder if anybody else out there has an extra floating around? If you have any leads on a wrecking yard please give me a "heads up" as time permits! I'm up here in Alaska (Anchorage area) and neither of the two yards up here have one.

Try picknpull.com You can check their vehicle inventory online. That's where I always go. That piece would probably run you $22, $20 for the part and $2 admission haha.

Try www.sawmillauto.com/ That is a very large yard in southeast New York State. You can search their inventory on their site, and I think that they'll ship.
