As mentioned in a couple of other threads, I recently bought a 3rd Aurora (a ‘98) as a donor. As of today, it has fixed my personal Aurora #1 (wheels) and a Buick at my dad’s car lot (gas tank & injectors). Dad wants to scrap the remainder ASAP. I posted a question about what (common-failure) parts I might want to scavenge for future use but have no replies yet. But my question here.... is the engine usable in anything besides the Auroras? Rather than send the car to the recycler/crusher, I’m hoping it might be worth more (both financially and as a stress reducer) to someone nearby as a donor for their needs, but I don’t know if the engine is a crossover fit with other GM cars. Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't think it would fit in much besides other Auroras. Probably cadillacs that use the 4.6 but I don't see anyone doing that. I HAVE heard of Fiero guys using the Aurora motor though, you might get interest in it on a Fiero forum.
