My transmission has some weird shifting and this sensor has a code for low voltage. Where is this sensor at and how hard is it to replace?

It's behind the side cover (inside the case). So, yeah, pretty much a PITA.

I can pull both from the FSM if you want, just let me know.
The hardest part is getting to the side cover to take it off, after that it's easy, haha! Might want to Google 4T65E side cover removal...

So my code for it is only intermittent and I get a signal from it most of the time. What could cause it to do that? Like wiring? Where do they go?

My Moms 2002 Aurora 3.5 trans was rebuild and getting same issue time to time. Same issue was happening before the rebuild. So i am not sure if its sensors are so bad or there is issue with the car computer like Trans shop told me might be. But i dont feel that that the case but they cant find and issue because when car in shop its not acting up and sometimes for days or weeks.

Usually intermittent issues are wiring as you said. I have no experience with the issue so I'm not sure where to look but I don't think it would hurt spraying some contact cleaner and compressed air in the main harness for the trans/engine
