Hello All; My 95 is making what I would call a wheel hub howl or noise. It is noticeable from 45 MPH on up. I have changed all 4 hubs and the passenger side drive shaft as this is where it appeared to come from. The noise is still there and after elevating the care and spinning up the wheels, my mechanic stethoscope indicates the transmission passenger side is the source. Does ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS? IS THERE A DIFFERENTIAL GEAR OR BEARING THAT TENDS TO GO AND can it be repaired without pulling the entire transmission out?. This is my winter aurora and I do not want to put $1000 plus into it. I replaced the cv axle on the passenger side along with the hub bearing, still noisy. I am thinking it must be gear or bearing noise from the differential. No one has commented on having a similar issue yet.Getting louder and very noticeable ~ 55-70 MPH.
