Hey guys, I'm planning on dropping the engine and trans for a tcc solenoid replacement. However, This is my second aurora in a year a new project of sorts but while the engine is out and due to the very small work area in the engine compartment, I want to replace a lot. To be more specific I mean I'm replacing the valve cover gaskets because my engine is caked in oil and the spark plugs due to limited rear access space. What I'm wondering from all you great aurora owners is what do you recommend I replace while I've got the heart of the beast out. Thx

I would replace all the gaskets while you have this good opportunity. Oil pan, crank halves, intake manifold and when you reinstall replace the boot between the intake manifold and the throttle body.

Yes, coolant crossover gaskets, oil pan and half case (recommended to use RTV there) trans side cover filter, valve cover gaskets. Check out your belt tensioner and idler and motor mounts.
Not necessarily need to do things (besides maybe the oil pan, half case, and crossover) but that's stuff I'd check out while it was out.

Do you have any suggestions for other parts that aren't related to the engine, But that could be bad due to vehicle age, mileage. Things like body, fuel system, suspension.

If you're dropping the subframe to take it out I'd replace the subframe bushings and do any rust removal in the mounts that might be required. Check out your power steering rack and lines as well.
