We are now 9,000 members strong, with the addition of Shelby!!!!! It took us 3 years to get from 8,000 to 9,000. Maybe 3 years from now, we'll be at 10,000!!!!

It's pretty cool to think that close to 9000 Aurora owners have been on the forum at different times. Of course some of those are bots, scammers, etc but still. The sad part of it is that only about 50 or so of the 9000 are active nowadays.

I can remember in the early aughts when message boards were huge. Now, just like here, its sorta hit and miss. Social media has taken over this sort of communication venue. People are now more apt to launch FB than to open a web browser or app for one topic or subject.

Yep, I always attributed it to the Aurora getting so long in the tooth. Not many around changing hands, and even more have headed to the scrap yard. It is very true that social media has replaced a lot of message boards as well.

That, and the fact that the newest Olds Aurora is 16 years old, lol! #truth Of course, when did we use hashtags in the early 2000s? ? Am I really getting that old? Side note- the 03 Aurora looks like many of today's new cars. They copied from our originals so I take solace in the fact that we drive the originals. Has anyone seen the interior of the 2019 Accord lately? Borrowed from the inside of the Aurora. At least that's what it looks like to me. I'm probably biased.
