About a month ago I picked up an extremely low mile Aurora for a friends daughter. A few days ago I get a call from them saying that the LOW BRAKE FLUID message appeared and the brakes felt soft. I stopped over last night to swap cars so I could work on it, and found the master cylinder completely empty. No signs of leaking at any of the rubber hoses at all 4 corners (one leaking rear shock though) and the only thing that looked like it could possibly have fluid on it was the crossmember in front of the rear suspension. I can't seem to find a diagram of the hard lines for the 01-03 Aurora anywhere online to determine if there's even a line in that area, does anyone have the diagrams?
Any common brake rot on the 2nd gen's? Also, I'm assuming I'll need to have someone with a scan tool to bleed the ABS module and likely bench-bleed the MC since it's been run dry....

Recently, all of the brake lines on my 2G rusted out. Fortunately, the local Midas shop was able to bend & cut the lines to the necessary shape. And the rear brake lines are probably leaking in the area you mentioned.

Now to locate the part number.....
