I took my Aurora to the shop today to get the headliner done. Hella excited to not have a sagging roof. Ol girl needs a new hairdo.

Sooo NOT HAPPY now. This is the garbage they came back with. I'm gonna have to take it back and have them redo this thing. How dare I assume that they would use the same material as the visors and the moon roof? How could I possibly expect them to call and ask if it was okay to change materials and be mismatched? Finally, how could I possibly have the audacity to expect them to notice that the material doesnt match? Its shoddy work like this that got me working on my own cars and learning how to do it. This is bad enough that if I ran across a good headliner in a junkyard, I would replace it. Dont even get me started on how I had to fix my own A Pillar covers in relation to the rubber strip....

Hard for me to tell but it looks like a very different texture!? Go get ‘em and have em make it right. Sorry you are having trouble - I agree, have a hell of a time getting things done right esp. the first time!

I actually like that fabric, it's in my Tahoe, lol!
But yeah, they should've done the visors and sunshade, or at least given you a heads up...

Our cars are supposed to be luxury sedans. Everything is about plush and soft. SUV head liner in a luxury vehicle- I know that sounds pinky up pretentious but hey, our cars are nice cars. I want to keep it that way.

It looks like the fabric thats in the newer GM cars in which I think it feels rough and not as soft to the touch or anything. It seems to be the ones thats in my newer Buicks and Cadillacs. Thats the trend with GM today, they put that fabric in our luxury cars lol. They think our high end cars deserves to get that materials. I would definately do something to make it right and look nice. I prefer the headliners in our Aurora's and even my Bravada has a nice feel to it too lol

Wow I expected the problem was a color mismatch (from years of ageing) but then I clicked and zoomed in the picture. I would be unhappy as well. It would look "ok" if the visors and pillars and sunroof shade were also covered but I agree, not super fond of the material myself.
