Do you have an aftermarket head unit? We have heard stories of wonky DIC date readings once an aftermarket HU is installed.

Does your power cut out at all? Do your radio presets get reset or anything too? Or the other DIC settings like fuel used or average economy?

All, I do not have an aftermarket head unit. I have not experienced any power cut or radio restes. I'll check the voltage meter today.
Thanks!
Also, two of my lug nut covers are loose. Any idea where I cna get replacements? The rattle and it is driving me crazy.

ebay will probably be your best bet ... I see the center caps listed there fairly often. They'll run you around $15 each (before shipping). Of course you could order them at your local GM dealer, but they will rip you off price-wise. Also check www.gmpartsdirect.com if you can get the part # on the center caps... some decent prices can be had there.

Scotty, Thank you very much. I called a dealership and they wanted $48.00 per cap.

Sounds about right... $48 for a piece of plastic! Click on this ebay link for a few options on current center cap auctions. There is a whole set of 4 listed, or some single caps as well. *Edit* oops, I just realized what forum I'm in (2001+). The current ebay listings I see are for 95-99 wheels, but I'm sure 01+'s will show up sooner or later.

Thanks to Kobalt's part list...I spy part number:
COVERS & TRIM 5 Center cap silver 95-99 $32.90 P/N 25620005 chrome 95-99 $46.40 P/N 9592699
These P/N's are compatible with GM Parts Direct, but you're looking minimum $36 per cap.
