I switched back to Exxon/Mobil from an independent; there was no difference in gas mileage. Once they switch back to the more volatile summer blend, it will be interesting to see if the mileage improves.

No. According to the 1999 sales pamphlet that I have, the Classic has an 18 1/2 gallon fuel tank.

My '95 is supposed to have an 18.6 gallon tank. If you run it completely dry, and suck all of the gas out of the line until the motor shuts off... I have poured in a little over 19.6 gallons to fill back up. My mileage on the highway seems to be near 23, driving with the cruise on at about 75 mph. The DIC shows a bit over 25, but I am betting that my injectors have eroded a bit, and that I am pumping a little more gas than the computer thinks, on each "spurt" of fuel. In the city, 17 or 18 sounds about right. It always does better, when I keep my right foot out of the engine compartment. Even so, I love the sound of the V-8 winding out when you jump on the highway. Keith

this last tank of gas I drove 379 miles and used 12.2 gallons of gas. That works out to being 30.6 MPG average. Granted this is with the V6 and not the 4.0. Custom, that is awesome mileage....

Yes, that is far better than the EPA quotes. Not sure off the top of my head about the Aurora 3.5, but the Intrigue 3.5 is rated at 19/28.
