Thanks Those trees make the car smell permanently like that scent (well, for a -long time- anyways). I've managed to do it in all my cars, and after a while won't need them there. I guess it's my trademark with all my friends.

That is an unusual color indeed. Are those >1998 Intrigue wheels?

I keep seeing a 2nd-gen around town with some pretty interesting rims... they've gotta be 20's but I'll snap a picture of it today where it's always parked and let the masses decide.

Gold must be pretty rare. I don't recall ever seeing one before.

I've never seen gold either. Certainly stands out - in a very very nice way. And complements the chrome very nicely. With some chrome rims (NOT those!!) the car would be very nice.

We stop and looked at one of those Gold Fire Mist Metallic (only available for 98/99) when we where looking at cars for my bro. It was a 98 and beat up, dings and dents, the rear was jacked up and the moldings were falling off. Plus only one ignition key and one key fob, good luck getting in when the faded key fob dies... I think my brother summed it up best though, "It's a very interesting and unusual color, but I dunno if I would like to have that everyday." As far other Aurora's, I got eye'ed real hard the other day, by a late-20's/30's male in a stock champagne 01/02 3.5. He was stopped in traffic at red light and I was going the other way and was the first car at the light, so I got on it a good bit when it turned green, but he musta got whiplash he spun his head so fast when he noticed me...

I sure wish that gold had been available in the 2001 model year. I have always thought that the collection of colors in that year was very bland.

Right.....Cherry, as Burgundy was called for 2001, was the only good color that year.

I like the look of that plastic painted to body color - rather than just the kinda faded black plastic.

I have seen a few painted plastic parts also but usually the paint chips off with bugs and rocks and doesn't look to great after a few miles.

Wasn't sure if it would look good on a light color. Really does though, it helps you notice the lower painted section (right above the deflector) which makes the nose look shorter. He missed the rockers though algonquin, it depends, I took numerous steps to prevent that, quality products, adhesion promoter, sanding before and after each proper step, grease and wax remover used constantly, 10 total coats, 3 primer, 4 base, 3 clear, and bugs and rocks still aren't a problem.

Here is a couple I spotted today. I was following the beige one and then came up on the black one.The 2nd gen was sitting in the parking lot at my in-laws apartment building. Of course I wasn't driving mine today cause I had the kids with me.

Actually, I didn't realize it was a final 500, I saw it as I drove past and quick snapped a pic with the cell phone.

I saw these today. Then I went to a couple salvage yards. Got a heater knob a couple door lights and a U off these. This was a '99 Autobahn with a bad motor, only 91,000 on it. I tried to buy the whole car but they wouldn't sell it. It would hurt to take any parts off of this car. I got the drivers door panel off this one for 25 bucks for my '95 fix up project. Someone got the intake!
