Just reading the details - does every Gen 2 have the tire inflation monitor or just the final 500's? How does that work? Enquiring minds and all that . . .

All the 2nd gens have a tire inflation monitor.
P.S. Wheel speed sensors are able to detect a low pressure condition after they have been calibrated to a new set of properly inflated tires and driven under various conditions.

So, it counts RPM from each wheel and compares it to "normal" yes? The SRX I got as a loaner - as far as I can remember, actually showed the psi for each wheel, I wonder if that was something different or if it just figured it out from the rpm's from each wheel.

I believe the final 500 differs cosmetically only. The final 500 have specal "final 500" emblems, special wheel inserts, seat badging and a cherry-red paintjob.

Yes, Final 500s only vary in appearance, not performance. There are 500 badges on the trucnk, both front fenders, stitching on front seats only, front floor mats, a cheap sticker on the engine and of course the wheels. The paint on these cars are brutal to keep nice. I would claim worse than black since black is not metallic. I have detailed my car twice in 2.5 months and it still shows some surface scratches. This link brings you to the pictures of my car when it was listed by the dealer. Sorry for the cheap photos. The ones I have taken I was not happy with. cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/ebayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2484502686&category=6404It would have been nice if they added horsepower to it like they did the '53 Fiesta from the standard 98. As far as price goes, I guess it's not bad but once again, I paid less than 25k with less than 5,000 miles. I know I did well but since I bought mine, another model year has come out making the car 2 years old. Just my opinion..... I will also admit to knowing a little too much on how to negotiate with car dealers. I used to be, and my brother-in-law is still in the business. Using their terms really drives them crazy.

Hey, that's not a bad tactic at all! Any "secrets" you'd like to share here are certainly encouraged... P.S. I vote the photo below for the next header pic (after some Photoshop background blurring, that JimW is so good at !
