Ok, well I have a beat-up stereo that works except it has a tape stuck in the deck.
I have a set-up chrome wheels and tires which two of them are in pretty bad shape from brake dust and tires are needing replacement.
also have a 96 aurora mirror that works, a steering wheel thats not in perfect condition and a non-deployed air bag with tan cover.
all free just in case someone needs something better. as you can see these are all replaced in my car for new or like new condition stuff. if you want it then pay shipping. otherwise i think im going to take it to a junk yard.

Whats the deal with the wheels? My question too... are they Aurora stock chromies? What do you mean "pretty bad shape"? Damaged or just real dirty? A picture would be worth a thousand words, as the saying goes.

Yes, they are the stock chrome rims. The front two were damaged from brake dust. I tried polishing them and having them cleaned with no luck. They work fine just doesnt look like the back two. Here is about the best pic I have of them. You can see the front wheel is darker and thats just from the brake dust damage. You can also see more pics of them under my sig. Its the link to my cardomain page and on the 2nd page is all stock pictures of them.

you think if they were cleaned with some steel wool and chrome polish they would clean up nice? if so then I'll probably take them

Steel wool would scratch them to bits wouldn't it? And maybe even rub the plating off?

no...steel wool will polish and clean any rust and/or stains off chrome and not scratch it.

Make sure you use super fine steel wool.

hmmm.....i dont think so. i tried using a chrome polisher, with rags and even paid for them to be cleaned with no luck. might need to be re-chromed if thats possible. there free for however just i think shipping might be expesive since they are a bit heavy.

have any pics of the factory wheels yet? Uh, check about 9 posts up. I'll back up the suggestion of steel wool also. I've had very good luck with it on an old set of chrome wheels... cleaned up rust stains like magic, so it's worth a shot on your fronts especially if they are already messed up. FWIW, when I sold my factory wheels I shipped them for less than $20 each using UPS... depends on how far you're sending them I'm sure.

dude, just looking at them, i just want to slap the original owner. there are three different tires. Dunlop, Optimo and Continental. why would you do that and not take care of chrome wheels?

They must be a cheap version. That's part of the big plus of the ceramics - very little brake dust.

wow...thats some serious damage from brake dust! yeah man. when i got the car the interior was completely dirty, outside looked like it was never washed. crap everywhere. i had three trash bags full of stuff when i cleaned it out. i still have to have the interior professionally cleaned but problem is they wont clean the roof because of roof material might sag.
