Guess what I just did?
Did you guess yet?
I just bought new windshield wipers!
Seriously though, I bought new refills for my wipers and some leather cleaner tonight . I also wanted to check my level of power steering fluid because the steering wheel all but locked up on me. I was turning into a parking lot and the wheel did not want to turn anymore. I almost ran into the curb! But anyway, on to the good part.
Tonight when I checked the fluid in the car and changed the wipers., I decided to venture into a new field. I opened my air box to check the filter and I did it. I actually gutted the airbox. It was easy! I owe many thank to members here, especially Jim and omegaic. It took all of five mintes to do.
Jim, wanna race?!?
I can actually hear some sort of V8 "rumble" when I listen closely to the exhaust (I put my ear up to the tailpipes). I took her aroung the block to see what gutting the airbox would do, if anything. She seemed to accelerate off the line a little easier than before and maybe accelerate better (in general). I am extremely please thus far.

NICE!
You definitely need to consider an exhaust mod. Now that shes breathes in a lil better its time for her to let it out a bit better. Look out tho, the mod bug is a dangerous...its addictive ;D

Hrm...not really, at least performance wise. There are a few cosmetic things to can do to make your Aurora a bit more unique, but now its gonna start to cost you some money if you want more go

supercharge er, the octopus says that would be extensive work/cost. If you want more power for free I would recommend weight reduction or gutting out all your cats (not legal though).

Weight reduction is probably the cheapest (and loudest) way to go! Rip all the insulation out of the doors and save 100lbs!

I don't want loud. The stereo does not have enough volume for that. If I tore out all the insulation then I would have to call radeon for his stereo expertise.

The only part that can be kinda loud(er) is the rumble of a cat back exhaust
