i have one its awesome it tells you about all the upgrades, some are pretty rediculous for a street car, but I still want the butterfly throttle body system. they have all the manufactuers that make all the parts for the engine including the part numbers, you can order any part if still available and the dealer can even get parts for ya. it has part numbers for them that you can look up on gmpartsdirect.com and it shows it. Its really funny when you look up the part number for the block and the price comes back to like 14 grand LOL. Yeah right but if you look at the block for the just the plain jane aurora its only like 2 grand and its the same block so far as i have compared. I have posters pictures, detailed outlines, diagrams for this engine and it pretty much is the same block. but that book is awesome but good luck trying to get the parts i have emailed and tried contacting several of the manufactuers of the parts and I dont get a response. I dont know what their deal is. but anyway it was def worth buying. This book even tells you how to tune your cams, and yes you can get racing cams.

Is this book about the production Aurora block? I thought it was actually about the IRL Aurora V8.
Katech had some IRL V8 stuff on sale a while back on their website. I really doubt it would be useable in a stock engine.
97 Silverbullet, I suspect the reason you don't hear back is that those companies no longer make the parts. The Aurora motorsports programs ended a few years ago.
The problem with cams on our cars is the automatic and the weight. Cam it up and you'll have terrible responsiveness in everyday driving.
