So I just bought an 02 with the 3.5L. I am coming over from an Olds Alero 3.4L. Was a good car till I fell asleep at the wheel one late night. Had a CAI and custom catback 2.5" exhaust with flowmaster 40 muffler and res. delete. My concern is that I did a quick filter change last night and disconnected the IAT sensor and replaced it with a cone filter for now until I have time to work on the warm air intake. This setup is considered a Warm air intake because the intake sits on top of the engine and does not dip down to the ground grabbing cold air but the heat shield and box sure does help. But beside the fact, leaving the IAT sensor unplugged threw off a service engine light. I noticed that the air box lid had some sort of ball on the inside where the IAT sensor was orignally plugged in to. If I do the modification of the honda intake and just plug the IAT sensor into the one of the sensor holes in the intake, is the service engine light still going to come on? Does that piece that the sensor plugs into on the stock lid need to be cut out as well and placed inside the new intake? Also, does anybody know where he purchased the PCM mounting bracket?

heres what you do. if you have a cheap intake filter just cut a whole in the rubber part and insert it in that.
honestly however I found when I used the "WAI" design it did nothing but make noise for me

What is the baseline HP vs CAI HP? Did you reprogram your OBD computer? With better air you should look at a 93 Oct tune. Bottom line is where is the data?

93 octane wouldnt do anything with a v6 as its designed to run off 87 and anything more is just nothing but really wasting money unless you own the v8
