Hi -
I signed on as a new member yesterday. I have a 2001 3.5 and have had some transmission issues (hard shifting) - have seen this discussed in the forum.
I contacted a transmission calibration engineer at GM and asked if he had any documentation regarding transmission DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes).
He gave me a very comprehensive document that I converted to PDF and tried to attach where it shows to upload an image at the top of the e-mail.
This does not work. So - how can I share this with others in the forum?

Ya, you can't post a pdf to imageshack. There are several free online file hosts out there though.

Actually, you can post a document if you have Acrobat. Save the file as a jpeg file. You can host this directly on ImageShack, but I find that it is too large. In the examples below, representing 4 pages of a Word Document which was converted to a .pdf, I used MS Paint to reduce each jpeg to 40%, and then saved each page as a .gif file, and hosted those. A bit tedious, but it works. ============================================= ============================================= ============================================= =============================================
