Here are a few quick p/shops that I used to envision what would look good on your car... With the Enkei RS-6... With the Enkei TS-P1... With the Giovanna Abruzzo... Hey, don't laugh. Like I said, those were quickie jobs. Out of the wheels you selected, I like the Giovannas the best. However, I think those are only for SUVs (I could be wrong). I'm not sure whether you've considered it or not, but what do you think of these... Good luck with your rim hunt! -Shawn

Wow, thanks Shawn.. that's cool! I think the Giovannas look nice as well.. Here's the specs for the rim: (BTW, how do you tell if its for a truck/suv only? There's a section for trucks/suvs...) They are 20x9 no further offsets or anything.. although on other websites, they list them for a truck. Here's the ones for cars: customwheel.com/custom_wheels/images/wheels.giovanna.anzioC.jpgWhat would that look like Shawn? Thanks! -Nick

Generally speaking, you'll know whether the rim is for a car or truck by the offset, (+) for trucks or RWD cars and (-) for FWDs. The Anzios look pretty bling-bling, here's what they would look on a white Aurora (as I believe ours is) at around 20"...

and some ocassional racing.. 18-20" rims are a must. Just FYI, but 20's are not going to help at all if you race the car. Also, on truck vs car wheels, another thing that might be telling is the bolt-pattern. GM at least usually has a different one for RWD vs FWD. Sometimes trucks are the same as RWD. The real thing is can the wheel handle the weight of your car, and is it the correct offset and size not to rub, stick out, or ruin the ride. I'd think a 9" wide wheel would really be pushing it in front, that they'd either rub or else stick out. But maybe not. Not to mention, what size of a tire are you going to put on a 20x9" rim that won't be taller than the stock tire

Only racing at the track for fun.. not going to get competitive with it..
I'm still trying to find the correct offset of the rims I like. The site I am going to buy them from doesnt list it, so I'm checking the manufacture site as we speak.
Tires are: 255/35R-20 97W REN B
Anyone else's opinion?

I'm getting the Giovanna Anzios. Too bad they only come in a 18" rim.. Would like a 20", but... the rim meshes with the car perfectly.

Giovanna's get my vote but my vote is a little biased because I perfer the chrome look as oppossed to the tuner look. but all those will great.
do you perfer the Tuner look or DUB look? also make sure you get the size you want because people end up regretting getting smaller then what they wanted.

Dont worry steve, many pics to come my man. Processing Monday, fitted and balanced tuesday, out wednesday, should be here Saturday or next Monday. Oh by the way, I got these instead: www.streetdreams.org//wheels/enkei/enkei_lx5_chrome.jpgOH! My mom asked me why should she allow me to put 20's on my car.. and I was like.. Would you rather have $900k or have a million, and be called a millionare? I said 20's are the "standard" for big boys.. so to speak.

Yep, stuck at 18.. not going to pay for 20's when I only make 6.50/hr.. (using a co-signed cc for this purchase) It's just my opinion, but perhaps it would be better to spend your money in other ways? Once you drop your dollars on wheels and tires, that money is basically gone. You won't get it back. Why not spend time instead of money shining and cleaning up your current rims and tires and just enjoying the car before buring through your hard-earned money so quickly for nothing more than show. Like I said, just my opinion, though. It's your money.

Aurora40, because I have a sponsor in line, and when I set the car off in some nice rims, and brakes they will provide me with a 75% sponsorship. I will be adding navigation and in-headrest TVs. They are in the process of sending the cotract now, and I have to fill it out and send picutres of the new modifications. They are paying my way to hot import nights (mustangs, pontiac sunfire and grandams and many other domestic cars in this show) in Miami for two days too!
What's best about this sponsor, they carry some nice 12 kicker compvr subs for $100 shipped for two. These retail like $170 a peice. Not to mention they have access to almost any part you can think of. It's a upcoming company, going to be the next "Pep Boys" type store.

It's a upcoming company, going to be the next "Pep Boys" type store. Interesting indeed... what kind of company logo/text will you have to display on your Aurora? I'm sure they will have a sticker or something you must have showing, so they can get some advertising space out of you. P.S. Moved to "Exterior" since rim upgrades are the topic of discussion here.

I said 20's are the "standard" for big boys.. so to speak. very nice. im sure you will make a jump from 18 to 20 in no time. but yeah man i love my 20's. if you love your car like i do then rims and tires are a great investment. some of the people on the board don't really care for that type of style but i can say that there isnt a day i dont get compliments on my car. i think im going to put a lot more money into my car and put it into competitions. its such a rare car to see hooked up so im sure i can smoke some folks.

Right betonthis!
Scotty, the company is called CDRA online.. they're a new company with just 2 stores, and they have goals to be the next "Pep Boys", with a different line of equipment. Right now, they only sell their stero equipment online. But I can get most any part 50-75% off.
They send 2 decals for your car. Nothing huge, so it wont be too bad. They'res' things I have to do for them, in order to get the discount through them.
I think 18's will be just as nice as the 20's.. and since they're hooking me up with a awesome system, my car will be lookin and soundin nice in no time. Now, time to get navigation installed, and TV's in the headrests.
