Does anyone know if the 01-02 center caps will fit the classic wheels? They look like similar wheels, but I thought I'd run it by you guys to confirm it. Thanks.

there was a topic on here about it, everyone says no, if ya take a pic of side-by-side, they are pretty much completely different.

They won't fit... there is a BIG size difference. If you happen to find that old post mentioned, there are side-by-side pictures of both wheel styles, and you can see the difference for yourself.

Sorry to dredge up an old, old, old topic, but I just wanted to confirm that these '01+ style 16" wheel caps will not fit a Classic's 16" wheel... Just wanted to confirm one of my low-budget mod schemes exists only in my mind or not.

I just bought a new center cap for my 95 Aurora and paid $20.00 for it. My original cap's wire connecting seal broke. Does anyone know how to reconnect the inside wire that holds these caps in place?

Those internal wires on the alloy version of Classic center caps are held on with plastic tabs. Best bet it to fully replace the cap assembly it self.
I see FAR to many Classic Auroras with missing center caps.

I still have my originals but the insides are held together with chewing gum and paper clips
