Hey Folks,
2004 Cadillac CTS 16" Wheels should fit correctly on a 95 Aurora, yes ? I wouldn't need any spacers or anything would I ?

I doubt it. The CTS is a rear-wheel drive car. They typically don't have wheels interchangable with FWD cars. But the FWD STS 17" wheels are the same style if you like them.

Ok, I am hearing yes and no. I guess I will just call the GM Dealer. Hopefully they will know. Anybody else have any experience on this ? I checked out some wheels at discount tire, they showed the same wheel fit both the 95 Aurora and the 2004 CTS. Who knows.

I know for a fact the 17" STS wheels are the same bolt and offset as the old ones. So they fit all G-Body cars. So that means the 18" wheels are 5x115.
I also don't see why the CTS wheel would be different from the STS as they pretty much the same underneath.

Drive wheels affect rim interchangeablity
STS rims (17's) are used on the Final 500 Aurora tho.

Yeah, and they don't look nearly as good as the 17" Olds chrome wheels in my opinion. I wanted an Olds, not a cross breed. One advantage is that the chrome doesn't peel, at least not yet.

Guys,
Let me clarify my comment. I don't think a car should come from the factory with parts that represent multiple makes even if it is the same parent company. I know there are things like inside door openers that are common with Buick models but to put Caddy rims on an Olds is not proper.
From there, we all have the right to modify at our expense. I'm dead agains modifications from stock on a valuable car. My '53 is bone stock. On my pick-up though I have added over 50hp with mods but that has no where the value of an Aurora; at least not to me.

Although technically, the "Cadillac" wheels on the Final 500 Aurora ARE stock... they all came from the factory that way, right? I don't know if they are branded "Oldsmobile" on the center caps or anything, but they certainly wouldn't have any "Cadillac" markings or insignia. And I do happen to know that Jim and I both took steps to make sure our Aurora's wheels have no "Pontiac" markings. Most people that comment on my chromies think they are aftermarket, and have no idea they came as an option on late 90's Bonnevilles.

Like how our door handles are shared with the C5 Corvette... ;D I agree about the FWD STS wheels. I don't think they match the shape of the car as well as the other Aurora 17"s. The STS was sort of boxy, so those spokes fit it. The Aurora is not boxy.
