I'm looking for some summer rims. I'm trying to decide which style would look good on the Aurora. Because the 2nd generation has a more 'square' look to its sides I thought maybe a rim that's more square would look good. I"m looking at possibly 16, 17, or 18" rims. I might take the rims that I had previously on the Riviera but I'm not so sure they'd look good on my car or not. My car: Rim1. Rage Coda (was the rim that was on my Riviera) Rage Vigor ATS DTM light alloy Or, if you know of other rims that might look good on my car, please post them.

My own favorite for the 2001/03: Stock chrome. My 2001 has the silver wheels. When I save up enough $$$$$, I'm getting the stock chrome. _____________________ GM!!! BRING BACK OLDS!!!

Those ones from your Riv might look nice, do you have them still? You could set them in front of the car and snap a pict. The first ones you linked to seem ok, kind of like FWD STS wheels. I don't like that last one, though.

I saw a pic of a 2nd Gen Aurora with 18" GXP rims and it looked fantastic. If you can Ebay a set of those, that would be awesome.
Yer pretty lucky to have those stock chromes already, but if I were to choose...I'd say #2

(not to mention it's $60 a pop to mount/balance them) the stock set would be my winter rims, the new rims would be my summer-only rims.

I'm in the same boat, stock 235/60/16 Michelins with stock alloys in the winter, and 17" SSEi OE chromes wrapped by 255/50/17s in the summer I know exactly where yer coming from

The SSEi rims were from California, and I didnt want em to see snow, plus there was nothing wrong with the stockers...they make great winter rims, but now I have summer performance tires and they wont work in the winter anyway.
It comes down to what suits your needs best.

Point proven. Whatever suits your needs. No doubt the stockers are nice. I like em.

Hmm... It looks ok... I don't really like the 5-spokes that get fatter look on Pontiac rims (GXP/GTO). It doesn't really go with the Aurora at all, but on that silver car it looks ok. I think on another color it would look worse.

It kinda looks like the white 2nd gen that you posted with the American Eagle rims (or whatever they were)...looked ok on a white 2nd gen as well.

I think the 2 Generation Aurora looks good with some 20 inch wheels as well. Have a look below [glow=red,2,300]Javi.[/glow]
