Ha!
Ebay usually has decent deals, if you can handle the shipping. Good luck with finding 235/60/R16s...I've had a helluva time finding a deal on stock sizes for the winter months.

well i know it may sound funny but the car has 3 235/60/R/R16s and one 230/60/R16 now lol
i dont think it would hurt to get the 230s would it, it rides fine but having one patched tire and ne slightly smaller and 2 ok tires.
im just very paranoid oh and my teacher wanted to keep the dead tire cause....
"its a perfect exapmle of what the inside of a radial lks like" it was BAD, but i culdent pull over ASAP cause there was no shoulder and semis were allaround me. i was scared(a rare thing for me)

Go for the Kumhos from Tire Rack. There is only a difference of $16 between the Solus KH16s and the Ecsta ASXs. Shipping will be a little more than your range, but the tires are well reviewed, both here and on Tire Rack.
Let us know how you fare...

Depends on the model. Bridgestones, from my experience, are noisy. I can't stand noisy tires.

There also always heavier. But with a $250 budget, I would just go with the new, name brand set you could find. They're better then any no names or some used set with a ton of problems. P.S. make sure that 230/60/16 is on one of the rear spots. Dont what to cook the diff/tranny

I second the T/A's. I love mine!!! The sidewall is pretty stiff and looks great when it's got some tire shine on it!

The Kumho's come highly recommended. I've got TOYO Proxes TPTs and I love them. I'm not sure of the price in the U.S. however. But, if you can get a great deal on Bridgestones, go for them.

I don't have them on my Aurora only because I don't need tires. I run them on my 69 Dodge Coronet and have also run them on other muscle cars I have owned from Chevelles to Novas to Corvettes. Nice performance and looks and usually at a good price.

I was thinking about bridgestones, cause my professor can get me some for kina cheep I've got Bridgestone Turanza's and they're not noisy at all. But good luck finding them for under $250... mine were around $450 and that was with a big discount I got from my neighbor (works for the local Bridgestone-Firestone plant). I think retail would have been around $650.

Kumhos are good tires. A lot of my corvette buddies here in town run them.
