A buddy of mine is into "flipping" cars, and recently picked up this '94 Deville at an auction. Check out the 20's... GOLD! What he (and I) would like to know is *what* brand these wheels are, and if they'd be worth any money to remove and sell alone. He's not a bling-bling type of guy. Here's a close-up of the wheel, and another one of the center cap (not attached at the moment). I don't recognize the brand insignia: Anyone know?

It seems pretty clear that they were not originally gold. The guy painted them? I actually painted the hub caps of an old '94 Corsica with a bunch of gold spray paint, once They're also in rather poor condition, so selling them would be hard. But the tires look fantastic.

I dont know what brand wheels those are, but they sure are ugly! He should keep the tires and get some nice classy chrome 20's.

The one I have photo'd is really the one wheel with any damage (curb rash). But the gold really is cheesy and it wouldn't surprise my if they were painted with some kind of transparent paint. I wonder if it could be polished off? Maybe the tires alone would be worth some money, I'll get the manufacture & size info later and post it here.

It could be buffed. If it is Chrome under the gold it would look very nice. If it is bare aluminum (assuming they are aluminum) they might look ok if they are polished and kept clean, aluminum constantly oxidizes however, making them hard to keep polished for any length of time. If they are bare aluminum, he could polish them, then have them clear coated! Sorry, just trying to give a few ideas.

I have some experience looking for wheels. Had to find a discontinued for my 20's. This is the closest thing I could find, logo is identical. Hope this helps. All I did was type in ugly 20's www.wheelguyz.com/shop/browse.asp?cat=73&path=3,73

Haha, that's funny. That insignia on the center cap is what I'm looking for to match to a brand... no luck yet.

I love that tacky gold, it makes me want to buy it and hang some pink fuzzy dice from the mirror and throw some zebra print seat covers in it, and don't forget the curb feelers and the chain link license plate frame.

Scotty, look at the symbol on the site I put up. It's pretty damn close. The tail looks longer on the site but I think its the same.

I love that tacky gold, it makes me want to buy it Hey just let me know, and I'll pass the word along. Scotty, look at the symbol on the site I put up. It's pretty darn close. The tail looks longer on the site but I think its the same. You're right, that is close... but when I zoom in for a closer look at a "Zora" wheel, the center cap stamp is different enough to be, well, different. Maybe their older wheels had a slightly different logo though. I'll try to do some more research, thanks for pointing those out -
