All cars are allowed! She sounded excited about having Auroras there. And she said if we all want to be together, to get there kind of early. It will cost us some money to enter. I think it will be a $12 entry fee. She is going to send me a pack of entry forms when they get them printed up. Early entries save $5. How exciting! did you get the forms yet?what's the price then $12 or $7

I would LOVE to drive the pace car but only if Tony lets me. There will be no stealing of cars at this meet by me at least. ;D Tony, will you be staying at a hotel or camping out? Zach, Tyler, and I will be camping at least. I'm pretty sure Lance will be camping as well. My good Kelty tent can only hold 4 comfortably... I have an older 3-room Coleman tent that can hold 12 but I'd rather not bring that monstrosity if I can help it! If you can bring a tent I'm sure you'd be welcome to stay on Randy's property. Probably in front of your Pace Car so that Zach doesn't take it for a late-night joyride. I can attest to the Illinois meet B.S... your GPS decided it didn't like your whole guess-and-check thing. An exact address would be good to have.

I'll be down for at least Sunday (Oct 4), but hopefully I'll be there Saturday. I'm still awaiting approval on my request for time off; one of the downfalls of working weekends. If that doesn't work out, I've got enough sick time to cover the whole weekend ;D
Randy, PM sent.

ok everyone i called the aurora chamber of commerce & the race track today. i spoke with mrs. shannon at the chamber of commerce. anyone wanting to save $5.00 should call this number and the chamber of commerce will mail you a preregistration form. $15.00 with preregistration form, $20.00 without it. 1-417-678-4150 just give 'em your address and they will mail you one. she also informed me that there is a plaque up for grabs to car clubs that are in the event. every year a mustang club wins this prize so we need to win it this year! the show is 9 - 4 oct. 3rd. at 2:00 they are having a car cruise parade & she told me if anyone wants to bring candy, it would be good to throw at the crowd. the show will be at Oak park which is on Church street. i know how to get there so everyone can just follow me from Randy's place.
now for the race track. i talked to Don and he said that we should likewise show up early (around 7:00 pm) so we can catch some great racing. they will open the track to cars with street tires after qualifying of the real race cars. it will be $15.00 for each car & driver who wants to race. they also have a grudge lane that we can use to race against each other.

Sweet thanks buddy! That's cool we get to be in a parade. I have a route planned out for driving to Aurora. I don't want to just go down 60. I actually drove to Aurora today to find a nice way to drive. The other way I found is the same distance. But we will be cruising down Historic Route 66. And if time permits stopping by an old time gas station for some photo ops. It's the one past Halltown that you always see all the 66 cruisers stopping at. I am also working on getting some more links of places to stay for everyone. And if anyone is looking for some fun in the area we have a Bass Pro Shop and Branson is just 40 minutes South of Springfield.

i made a flyer and put it on someone's windshield earlier. it's a gold classic down the street. (stock appearance)plain, alloy wheels with missing centers. but i gave them links to ACNA & talked about the upcoming affair in Oct. hopefully they will tune in here if nothing else.

Man I wish I could go, there are some great roads in Misu. Did not know there was an Aurora. I have to be in Detroit three days later for family wedding or I would try to make it. Rain check.

Tyler was planning on coming. I tried calling him a couple days ago and left a message. Tony is bringing both of his Auroras. I'm still trying to convince Jack to come. ;D Theres an Aurora in Lawrence that I see whenever I'm driving and he always looks at my car but I can't find him parked anywhere... I'll try my best to get him a card and get him to come as well.
Will Lion Vista be back, Randy?
