The 2005 All-GM Nationals at Carlisle, PA is June 24-26th next year. www.carsatcarlisle.com/schedule/index.aspI would imagine that planning needs to be done early, as they probably have tons of clubs and such that go to this. According to the 2004 info, club space is for clubs that will have 25 or more cars, but maybe that's just if you want a free tent and whatever else. Hopefully you can have a club space with fewer cars as I seriously doubt we'd hit that number. Who would seriously be likely to go to this? And is this the plan for the first real meeting of the ACNA?

Ah, you beat me to it 40… well if anyone is interested in going to Carlisle in June please let me know ASAP so I can start arranging what needs to be done. I have already been chatting with their events manager so I just need an idea of about how many people want to attend
Keep in my Carlisle will be the biggest meet (I’d expect) for 2005 definitely worth making the trip to! Once I get an idea of how many people are interested in going I will get costs of hotels etc. etc. available.
If you are interested please go to the post Carlisle Sign Up - and sign up there

Hey Amanda, did you find out anything about how many cars we would need to have register? If we need to pay for a tent/space/etc, any ideas on the cost per person, etc? Would anyone be interested in any other kind of event while we are all there? Carlisle has a drag event that Friday, but I imagine it may be full of Camaros and such. Maybe not, though, or maybe we could meet at some other semi-local dragstrip or something? Just a thought... I guess I'm the weirdo who wants to leave after about 4 hours, but I can't understand how people can just stand around in the grass by their cars for 3 days...

I'll be making it a part of my 3 weeks of vacation time, ;D I'm sure they're will be lots to see and to do and have done to me, however we should all get together at least one night for a big ACNA cookout or dinner or something.
And well, I've never been to Carlisle, but I'm going to be doing more then just standing by my car for 3 days, I wanna see/do as much as I can.
But..thats just me.

I guess I'm the weirdo who wants to leave after about 4 hours, but I can't understand how people can just stand around in the grass by their cars for 3 days... Well, I can give a fully guided tour of the nearby Gettysburg National Battlefield including the haunted woods where several hundred confederate ghosts hang out some evenings. There's also several ok Winerys close by. Hershey Park is close for amusement rides and shopping. That's about it for outside entertainment. Carlisle is a transportation town with the Truckstop, the Fairgrounds, and a really big junkyard as the chief landmarks. I hope they have some activities going on at the meet.

I hope at least one of you guys/gals that are going will be able to relay pictures back to the board for us. Any chance of that happening?
Wish I could be there.
