OK now on to nicer things. I am so glad I took a picture of Dave (Rustymutt) and his daughter. Since he was our official photographer, he didn't get in many of the pictures. I assume it is ok with him to post these since he posted some with his daughter already. She is just adorable, and lovable. She felt right at home with all of us.

Too bad, I couldn't make it this time I found it last weekend that I had a wedding to go to in Davenport. Spent my time sitting around not knowing anyone rather than admiring some gorgeous Auroras. Make sure you let me know about the next one

I suppose this thread will be the next to turn into 23 pages of drivel. Make sure you let me know about the next one Along these lines, oldsnut mentioned that we can book a slightly better location EARLY to make sure next year's meet is even better. Probably looking at around the same time frame (mid June) when the weather is generally nice but not too sweltering. I know it's hard to plan out an entire year in advance, but if anyone has an obvious conflict with "Auroras in Aurora 2009" let us know now!

Kit Kat, FYI when you delete a post and I have quoted it the picture does not dissappear in my post.
Anyway I'm off to the Roundhouse for Jazz & Wine Night. I will see the owner and thank him for the use of the lot.

Was on the phone with The Forest Preserve District a little while ago, They have a policy of not allowing residence to book Pavilions until Jan 1. I have put a reminder in my day planner to do so on that date.

I would have said 27 or 28, but remember you are only as old as you feel and I feel like 26 3. I thought I was an Olds Lady ;D 4. Kay or Kathleen, you really should use one or the other in a single post

darn, I should have asked if he was that hot one from Saturday No Tubbs, this is what you originally said. ^^^^ You are an Olds Lady and an old lady compared to that cop. 27 or 28 would be pushing it, I think I saw what was part of a diaper sticking out of his belt by the gun. Already forgetting what you wrote hours ago.

OK, in case I didn't say it before, I have to say the meet was a blast! We had some rainy weather the day before and morning of the meet, and I am a little embarrassed to say, I did not wash my car before going. Apparently, I was the only one Now all our cars got wet, but when we went to take pictures we could see the dark cars looked worse than the lighter ones. But, Tony to the rescue with his "stuff" (sorry, don't know what you call it ) Tony and Scotty did Scotty's car and it looked great. Then Tony and Oldsnut did my car, well it was better but not as great as Scotty's . I think that is because Scotty and his wife went to the trouble to clean it up well the day before (<--they didn't get the rain where they were ). Anyway, this is getting kinda lengthy here (what's new ;D) so to wrap it up, I washed my car today and I want you all to know it really can look good ;D...
