Why is it in the "last 50 posts" feature that you have to keep scrolling to the right so far to read all the text...It is differnent lengths to the right every time.
Thanks

Thanks Well, some have posted awesome pix of their cars that are quite large and that's what causes the need to scroll. As soon those posts drop off the top 50 and go into their own threads, only in those threads will you have to scroll. The way to eliminate this is to post smaller photos

The way to eliminate this is to post smaller photos Which is why we have a 500x150 limit on signature photos, a numebr which some members tend to periodically forget. It's there to reduce unnecessary scrolling and crowding of conversation threads. To avoid multiple posted photos ending up side-by-side, I recommend that the poster either place a Space between each photo or put each one on a new line (by pressing Enter). I will generally modify incorrectly posted photos to accomplish this if I run across a thread like that requiring major scrollage.

Ok this makes sense. I thought that may be the problem, but for somereason thought others would have said something about it. I have not noticed it till just recently and thought it could have been something on my end. Is there a way to "fit the image to the screen"?

Is there a way to "fit the image to the screen"? If there is, that will be in your browser settings/options, and not anywhere through the forum. Most browser can/will resize an image to the browser window if that's all you're viewing (an image file), but I'm not sure any of them can manipulate images when they are embedded within other content like a website or forum text.

After reading the current "last 50 posts" I had to do very little to know scrolling. and there were photos...large ones too from Visitor and his $1000 G2.
So Scotty if you did something - Thank you,
G26

I didn't, but thanks for the credit. ;D It's not really just large photos that do it, but photos placed side-by-side with no spaces that require side scrolling and push everyone else's text way out. Anything that's bigger than your browser window will cause that, which is why some folks are more affected than others.

The current last 50 had no scrolling what so ever. Maybe the photo posters got the message. Thanks photo posters.

I saw that and was going to comment. Though they are nice photos it makes ready the rest of the posts too much of a hassle...

All that has to be done is a single space entered in between each photo link. Anyone can/should feel free to kindly request that change of anyone who has the incorrectly posted photos, now and forever more. Not everyone is aware of how their photos may be screwing up forum viewing for others. I or other Admins will not always see these things... I personally never use the "last 50" option, so I never would have even been aware had g26 not posted here.
I sent lance a PM, so I will assume that the viewing problem will be fixed next time he logs in.
